First off the plumber was excellent.
However, and this is on me I did agree, the price to change the parts in 2 toilet tanks was $712.00 ouch. I'm disabled or I would have done myself, in my prime I have done this job many times but now I can't. He made short work of it and did do fine job. It took him an hour altogether. I phoned 3 other places after and the highest quote was $300 for same job, same parts.
When I first phoned for a price they said the plumber must quote a price but they have a flat rate....? They could have easily said the minimum rate is well over $300 for 1 kit plus installation. The tech was in the shop and not on a job so he came over right away.
The only reason I agreed because he was friendly and he did do a good job plus it was same day service. I would recommend him anytime. Even with travel time it came out to over $280 an hour or another way to put it, parts $140 dollars (tops) labour over $500. Plus tax.
Expensive lesson learned. To me, this is getting into predatory pricing territory. I asked for a phone call before I left this review but no one bothered. Too bad.

Hired bees knees to do plumbing for a client of mine and they were a breeze to work with and everything was done professionally and quickly which is super important to me and my clients. Will be using them again forsure.

Bee’s Knees did a great job clearing a blockage in my kitchen drain… they were prompt, polite, professional. They used the hydro-jet machine to thoroughly clean the drain lines and things are back to normal in the kitchen! Thank you guys, great job!!

The quality service I was led to believe I would receive from their website advertising claims definetely was not what I experienced.
The work recommended was not an efficient nor correct solution considering the emergency situation. The employee lacked professional insight, experience and demonstrated unprofessional behaiour. We called another plumber and the situation was rectifyied within 2 hours at 4 times less the estimated cost and time frame of Bees Knees.

I notified Bees Knees that their consultation and estimate did not meet their own stated standards and was not in my best interest however it fell upon deaf ears and they insisted the fee still be paid. The unpaid consultation fee was sent to the Vernon Credit Bureau for collections as a negative against my credit score.
Looking for resolution I went to the Better Business Bureau for mediation and the following is the final response from Bees Knees.

"Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for the shortcomings you experienced, including the inefficient estimate, lack of empathy, and Devin’s unprofessional behavior. We’re addressing these issues internally, including training for Devin.
However, as you’ve not paid any portion of your bill, this will be our final communication until payment is received. We won’t be waiving the consultation fee, which covers our time and expertise, though I regret we didn’t meet your expectations. Please settle the outstanding amount at your earliest convenience. Once paid, we’d be happy to discuss any resolution you seek beyond non-payment."

Be wary of a company that struggles with professional accountability and integrity.

Revised Review: My review was originally five stars, but has been changed to one as their billing and invoicing has prevented me for obtaining the FortisBC Rebates. The electrician and his helper are a ten out of ten. Advice to management change your billing to be itemized and start with my invoice.

I was having issues with my smoke alarms. Called and Andrew came out. Was on time. Very professional and nice. I had the alarms . Took him no time at all to install. Will definitely call Bees Knees again for any issues in my home to be serviced. Very pleased with service
