The quality service I was led to believe I would receive from their website advertising claims definetely was not what I experienced.
The work recommended was not an efficient nor correct solution considering the emergency situation. The employee lacked professional insight, experience and demonstrated unprofessional behaiour. We called another plumber and the situation was rectifyied within 2 hours at 4 times less the estimated cost and time frame of Bees Knees.
I notified Bees Knees that their consultation and estimate did not meet their own stated standards and was not in my best interest however it fell upon deaf ears and they insisted the fee still be paid. The unpaid consultation fee was sent to the Vernon Credit Bureau for collections as a negative against my credit score.
Looking for resolution I went to the Better Business Bureau for mediation and the following is the final response from Bees Knees.
"Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for the shortcomings you experienced, including the inefficient estimate, lack of empathy, and Devin’s unprofessional behavior. We’re addressing these issues internally, including training for Devin.
However, as you’ve not paid any portion of your bill, this will be our final communication until payment is received. We won’t be waiving the consultation fee, which covers our time and expertise, though I regret we didn’t meet your expectations. Please settle the outstanding amount at your earliest convenience. Once paid, we’d be happy to discuss any resolution you seek beyond non-payment."
Be wary of a company that struggles with professional accountability and integrity.
