No. The recipient is chosen by the Bee’s Knees team, not selected through a random draw. We carefully review each nomination and choose the individual or family we feel needs it most.

Any resident within Bee’s Knees’ service area in the Okanagan can be nominated. This includes seniors, families, or individuals experiencing hardship or health-related cooling needs.

Anyone in the community can submit a nomination, including friends, family members, neighbours, or caregivers.

No. There is no purchase required, and the air conditioner and standard installation are provided at no cost to the selected recipient.

You’ll need to provide your contact details, the nominee’s contact details, and a short paragraph explaining why you believe they should receive the free air conditioner.

The selected recipient will be chosen in May, and both the nominator and nominee will be contacted directly.

Yes. All nominations are kept confidential and reviewed only by the Bee’s Knees team.
